The Research Lab. on Networking supports research in network communications including protocols and architectures, modeling and analysis, optical networks, switching and routing, wireless and mobility, measurements, prototyping and simulations.

Networking Group focuses on the main challenges of advanced networking, with a special attention to the Next Generation Internet or Future Internet Network, i.e., the foreseen evolution of the present computer and communcation networks towards the support of the ever growing communication services and needs.
